Sometimes you buy things while on vacation that you can’t explain later. This is one of them – although I do know why I bought this irresistible little pup. It’s because the lady who ran the antique store reminded me of my grandmother Myrtle. This charming carving of a Spaniel is about 9 inches high, with that smooth patina on the carving that suggests it has been patted with affection. I mean, wouldn’t you want to pat this little fellow?
